Project Overview
Henderson Warnock delivered the full MEP fit-out for M&G’s Kildean facility, supporting the creation of a modern, resilient workplace aligned to business-critical operations.
The project focused on integrating building services seamlessly within the architectural and interior design, delivering a clean, efficient and future-ready solution.
Our Approach
The MEP design prioritised coordination, efficiency and flexibility. Services were developed in close collaboration with the wider design team to ensure strong technical performance without compromising the quality of the finished space.
Key elements included:
Energy-efficient mechanical and electrical systems
Intelligent controls for comfort and performance
Coordinated service routes to maintain clear ceiling zones
Infrastructure designed to adapt to future change
Resilience & Critical Power
Given the operational requirements of the client, resilience was central to the design. A dedicated critical power strategy was implemented to ensure continuity during power interruptions.
This included standby generation, UPS provision for business-critical systems and clear segregation of essential supplies.
Outcome
The completed installation delivers a robust and efficient MEP solution that complements the fit-out and supports M&G’s ongoing operational needs. The Kildean facility now benefits from a flexible, high-performing workplace designed for long-term use.
