Henderson Warnock are delighted to have been part of the design team that has delivered three new Aldi stores in the last month; the first stores in the HW remit of the planned expansion works across Scotland. HW is scoped with providing Mechanical & Electrical building services meeting the Aldi national standards. The stores located in Cornhill, Aberdeen (pictured below), Bellhaven Street, Port Glasgow & Newhailes Road, Musselburgh are now open and trading to the public.

The Cornhill, Aberdeen store was a refurbishment of an existing store previously operated by Co-Op Food where the existing services and internal fit-out were stripped back in its entirety. The internal layout and building services were designed & installed around the reshaped internal merchandise arrangement.

Port Glasgow was the fit-out of a developer constructed retail unit with the Musselburgh store expanding its sales floor area whilst talking the opportunity upgrade the existing M&E services.

These stores represent two of the 10+ currently on the order book, designed and progressing to site across Scotland with our retail section currently operating in all corners of the UK.
